    Itinerary

    Day 01 - Arrival Delhi

    On your arrival at Delhi Airport/Railway Station, get welcomed by our representative and transferred to your hotel. Check in, freshen up and take a little rest. The remaining hours of the day are free to be spent at leisure. You may take a gradual walk to the nearby markets, enjoy scrumptious street food, talk to local people, etc. Return to your hotel for an overnight stay.

    Day 02 - Delhi - Leh

    In the morning, post breakfast, get transferred to the Delhi Airport to board flight to Leh. Reaching Leh, get transferred to your hotel, check in, freshen up and take a little rest. Rest of the day is free to be spent at leisure. You may walk down the streets of Leh and visit the colorful markets. Thereafter, return to your hotel for an overnight stay.

    Day 03 - Leh

    Enjoy this day with excursion to some of the oldest Buddhist monasteries. Visit Shey monastery and witness the gold plated copper statue of Lord Buddha. The length of 7.5 m is an attraction of this monastery, for the tourists. Thereafter, proceed to the monastery nestled on a hill top, Thikse (Thiksey)monastery. Here, you may witness numerous temples and wall paintings of Lord Buddha. Hemis monastery is also worth visiting. Thangka (one of the world’s largest painting on silk with embroidery) is showcased every 12 years at this 360 year old monastery. Overnight stay at hotel.

    Day 04 - Leh

    In the morning, after breakfast, get ready for full day expedition to Pangong Lake (Pangong Tso). This lake is located near Indo-China border. The panoramic view of this narrow, long, enchanted lake is completely mesmerizing. Later in the evening, you may explore the colorful markets of Leh. Also buy traditional artifacts as souvenir. Return to your hotel for an overnight stay.

    Day 05 - Leh

    Post breakfast, in the morning; visit Shanti Stupa This Buddhist white-domed Stupa was built by Gyomyo Nakamura (Japanese Buddhist Bhikshu) in the year 1991. Thereafter, visit the daughter-establishment of Spituk Monastery, Sankar Gompa (Sankar Monastery). Take pleasure in exploring in and around this monastery. Return to your hotel for an overnight stay.

    Day 06 - Leh - Delhi

    Get transferred to the Leh Airport to board flight to Delhi. On reaching Delhi airport, get transferred to the hotel. Check in, freshen up and take a little rest. Post lunch, enjoy excursion to attractions of Old & New Delhi. Visit Red Fort from outside and also enjoy sightseeing to Raj Ghat, Parliament House, Jama Masjid (Old Mosque), Presidential Palace (Rashtrapati Bhavan), Humayun Tomb, India Gate and Qutab Minar. Later, return to your hotel for an overnight stay.

    Day 07 - Delhi - Bagdogra (by flight) - Darjeeling (by surface)

    On time assistance and transferred to the Delhi Airport to board flight to Bagdogra. On your arrival at Bagdogra Airport, proceed towards Darjeeling by road. After reaching Darjeeling, get transferred to your hotel, check in, freshen up and take a little rest. You are free to enjoy the evening by taking gradual walks to the streets of Darjeeling, explore local markets, etc. Return to your hotel and halt for an overnight stay.

    Day 08 - Darjeeling

    Early morning, start your day experiencing the panoramic view of dawn from the Tiger Hill. You may also view the spectacular Kanchenjunga massif. After breakfast, enjoy Toy Train ride upto Ghoom (Ghum) Monastery, which has 15-feet high statue of "Maitreya Buddha" (Coming Buddha). This monastery was built in the year 1875, by Lama Sherab Gyatso. Later, in the afternoon, also visit Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (HMI) and Tibetan Refugee Self Help Centre. Thereafter, return to your hotel for an overnight stay.

    Day 09 - Darjeeling - Pelling

    Early morning, after breakfast, drive to Pelling. Get transferred to your hotel on reaching Pelling. Check in, freshen up and take a little rest. Post lunch; visit Pemayangtse Monastery, built in 1705 by Lama Lhatsun Chempo. Enjoy the mesmerizing view of snow capped mountains on two sides, against the backdrop of the monastery. Thereafter return to your hotel and use the remaining hours in exploring local markets, enjoying street food, talking to local people, etc. Return to your hotel for an overnight stay.

    Day 10 - Pelling - Gangtok

    In the morning, post breakfast, proceed to Gangtok. En route visit Rumtek Monastery. Thereafter, proceed to Namgyal Institute of Tibetology and explore the Tibetan tradition, culture, festivals, religion, history, etc. Also visit a Stupa built by Trulshik Rinpoche in 1945, Do-Drul Chorten. Arrive at Gangtok, check-in at your hotel, and take a little rest. Overnight stay at your hotel.

    Day 11 - Gangtok - Phuntsoling (Bhutan Border)

    After breakfast, drive to Phuntsholing (Phuentsholing). Check in at your hotel after arriving Phuntsholing. Take a little rest and then use the remaining day in expedition to in and around of the hotel. Communicate with local people, visit nearby markets, etc., and later, return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

    Day 12 - Phuntsoling - Thimpu : (176 Km - 06 hours drive)

    After breakfast at hotel, drive to Thimphu. On reaching, get transferred to your hotel. Check in, freshen up and take a little rest. Later, enjoy gradual walks down the streets. Explore local markets, enjoy street food, and talk to local people. Return to your hotel for an overnight stay.

    Day 13 - Thimpu

    In the morning, post breakfast, get ready for full day expedition to various popular attractions of Thimphu. Visit National Library, a library which hosts a huge collection of ancient Buddhist manuscripts. Thereafter, proceed to the School of Thangka paintings and Traditional Medicine Institute. Visit Trashi Chhodzong, the head quarters of ministries. After lunch in town, drive to Dochula (23 km from Thimphu). Here, view the panoramic sight of the snow-capped peaks of Gangcheyta, Jeje Khang, Table Mountain, Mt. Gangkar, Masakhang, and Puensum. Dochula is also popular for The 108 Chortens (Stupas). Return to your hotel, halt for an overnight stay.

    Day 14 - Thimpu - Paro : (65 Km - 02 hours drive)

    Post breakfast, drive to Paro. After reaching, get transferred to your hotel. Check in, freshen up and take a little rest. Rest of the day may be used for excursion to various attractions of Paro. Visit the ruins of Drukgyal Dzong, erstwhile a fortress and Buddhist monastery. On the way, witness the traditional style in the construction of houses and structures. Later, visit Taktsang Monastery. Post lunch; proceed to Ta Dzong (National Museum) to explore a splendid collection of weapons, artifacts, and Thangka paintings. Thereafter, take a short gradual walk to Administrative Head Quarter, Rinpung Dzong. Return to the hotel, post dinner halt for an overnight stay.

    Day 15 - Paro - Kathmandu

    In the morning, get transferred to Paro Airport to board the flight to Kathmandu. On your arrival at the Kathmandu Airport, get transferred to the hotel. Check in, freshen up and take a little rest. You may spend the remaining day at leisure. Enjoy gradual walks down the streets, explore local markets, talk to local people, taste street food, etc. Thereafter, return to your hotel for an overnight stay.
     

    Day 16 - Kathmandu

    This day is dedicated for sightseeing tour at Kathmandu. Early morning, get ready to visit the oldest Buddhist shrine, Swayambhunath Stupa. It is believed to be 2000 years old. It nestles on a hillock (77 m above the level of Kathmandu Valley), 3 km west of Kathmandu City. You may also take pleasure in viewing the panoramic view of the valley. Later in the afternoon, proceed to Bouddhanath Stupa. This Stupa is 8 km east of Kathmandu. Also visit Pashupatinath Temple, an important Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. This temple is regarded as one of the sacred shrine for Hindus. The temple has silver door and two tiered golden roof. Thereafter, return to your hotel for an overnight stay.

    Day 17 - Kathmandu

    In the morning, after breakfast, take a tour to Patan city. This city is popular for its rich cultural heritage and traditional art and craft. Also visit the major attraction of the city like Patan Durbar Square, Patan Dhoka, Bhaskerdev Samskarita Hiranyabarna Mahavihara, Mahabouddha Temple, Kumbheswor Temple, Ratnakar Mahavihar, etc. Evening is free to be spent at leisure. You may explore the local markets and purchase unique traditional handicrafts as souvenirs. Later, return to your hotel for an overnight stay.
     

    Day 18 - Kathmandu - Delhi

    Get assisted and transferred to the Kathmandu Airport to board flight to Delhi. On your arrival at Delhi, have dinner and later proceed to Delhi Airport/Railway station for onward journey.
